Kodak Junior 620
Produced by Kodak AG at Dr. Nagel-Werk, Stuttgart, the camera shown on the right is an early version, fitted with a film wind knob, rather than the folding key of later models, a two-speed Kodak shutter and a waist-level brilliant viewfinder. The camera on the left is a later model, with a different strut mechanism, frame eye-level and brilliant waist-level viewfinders, a body release for the four-speed shutter and a sliding cover for the red window on the back. The rear-cover latch was also redesigned. Both of the cameras above have a f/7.7 10.5cm lens, but the "de-luxe" version of the later model, shown below, has an f/4.5 lens in it's four-speed shutter. This variation also features an optical eye-level viewfinder and rather stylish chrome-plated panels. An unusual feature of all of these cameras are the tripod sockets, which are of a larger thread than the 'standard' ¼".name | : Kodak Junior 620 | produced between | : 1933 - 1939 | lens | : Kodak Anastigmat | shutter | : Various | film type | : 620 | picture size | : 6 x 9 cm | quantity made | : 581,000 | categories | : folding, 620 |
