Folding Pocket Kodak
Slightly different from the camera depicted in Brian Coe's book, this camera does not have the 'dummy' viewfinder windows on the lens panel, but describes itself internally without any model number. An interim model, possibly, before the No.1 Folding Pocket Kodak was introduced. Quoting from the "Kodak Milestones" publication, this model "is considered the ancestor of all modern roll-film cameras ... it was also the first camera with an all-metal case".name | : Folding Pocket Kodak | produced between | : 1898 - 1899 | lens | : Achromat f/11 | shutter | : Eastman Automatic | film type | : 105 | picture size | : 6 x 9 cm | quantity made | : 75,000 | original list price (USD) | : 10.00 | categories | : folding |
