Vest Pocket Kodak Model B
This camera, from around 1930, has an Autographic back and a single speed shutter. An unusual feature is the rotating wheel on the left side of the shutter housing which allows different aperture stops to be chosen, a feature also seen on the very similar Vest Pocket Hawkeye and the Brownie Pliant. The apertures, according to a Kodak Ltd. publication, equate to f/11-f/32. During the course of production, the design of the baseboard changed at least four times, later cameras having a more 'iridescent' finish to the imitation leather covering. This camera was manufactured in the USA between 1925-34 and in the UK between 1931-33.name | : Vest Pocket Kodak Model B | produced between | : 1925 - 1934 | lens | : Various | shutter | : Rotary | film type | : 127 | picture size | : 6 x 4 cm | original list price (USD) | : 7.50 | categories | : 127, folding |
