Kodak Retina (118)
This model was the second production Retina, not yet called a "Retina I" as there was no "Retina II" (with rangefinder) until 1936. There is no shutter release on the body of the camera, this being achieved by the little plunger screwed into the cable release socket on the shutter housing itself. A depth of field calculator, in German and calibrated in metres on this example, is fitted to the base.name | : Kodak Retina (118) | produced between | : 1935 - 1936 | lens | : Xenar f/3.5 50mm | shutter | : Compur or Compur-Rapid | film type | : 135 | picture size | : 24 x 36 mm | quantity made | : 9,144 | original list price (USD) | : 57.50 | categories | : 35 mm, retina |
